The Qatar Fund for Development signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)
As part of enhancing the relationship between the State of Qatar and the USA
The Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) & the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), to establish a strategic partnership in the field of International Development and Humanitarian Assistance.
The MoU aims to establish a partnership between QFFD and USAID and foster collaboration that supports sustainable development in third countries. In addition, the MoU further enhances the strategic relationship between the State of Qatar and the USA.
the Deputy Director General for Planning of the Qatar Fund for Development, Mr. Ali Abdulla Al-Dabbagh, and Chief Assistant to the Acting Deputy Administrator Max Primorac and signed the MoU.
The ceremony that was held virtually attended by, Qatar ambassador in US, H.E. Sheikh Mashal bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Thani, US Charge d’Affaires a.i. in Qatar, Mrs. Greta C. Holtz and The Head of the US department, H.E. Ambassador Issa Bin Mohammed Al-Mannai.
This MoU will be the starting point for exploring new mechanisms for cooperation in the international development field through working together with USAID on new projects, which will contribute to changing the lives of the beneficiaries for the better, giving hope and promoting peace and justice through sustainable and inclusive development in less developed countries.
QFFD is always seeking to establish new and strategic partnerships and explore innovative ways to provide innovative and sustainable foreign assistance, as the Fund was able to deliver relief aid and development assistance to more than 100 countries around the world.
